What is this!?

Welcome to my thesis log. This is where I will write about what I am doing in Chile related to my Honors and International Degree thesis. This is in fulfillment of the informal writing portion of the Writing Intensive Course requirement for the ID. It should remain suitable for all audiences. For those of you who don’t know, I’m currently out at the Estacion Costera de Investigaciones Marinas (ECIM) in Las Cruces, Chile. (I’ll post the link under the little links thing on the side tomorrow). It’s more or less a straight shot west from Santiago along the coast (Region V). I live on site. It is winter here, which is how I am going to explain the inevitable gray sky photos.

Please feel free to leave comments. Most importantly, enjoy!

Las Cruces

Also, the header photo for my blog is a photo of the sunset I took during our sampling trip in northern Chile.
